L2 Releases First-Ever Prestige 100®: Mobile IQ
The mobile explosion has arrived, and with it we bring you L2′s first annual Prestige 100®: Mobile IQ.
Developed by NYU Stern Professor Scott Galloway and a team of experts at L2, the Prestige 100®: Mobile IQ ranks the mobile competence of 100 brands across Beauty & Skincare, Fashion, Hospitality, Retail, and Watches & Jewelry.
With mobile Internet connections poised to surpass wired ethernet connections by 2015 and m-commerce numbers ballooning, we believe mobile competence is inextricably linked to shareholder value in the prestige industry.
Top-ranked prestige brands at the forefront of the mobile revolution include Sephora, Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Net-A-Porter. These were the lone Geniuses in L2′s first-ever mobile ranking, while more than half of brands in the study registered Feeble status. As early investors pull away, the non-participating laggards are falling behind in their opportunity to gain from a new mobile era.
