Research Lead, L2 Collective
L2: A think tank for digital innovation. We are a membership organization that brings together thought leadership from academia and industry to help brands navigate the changing digital landscape. Drawing from original research, best practices, and emerging trends, L2 distills this intellectual capital and makes it actionable for our partners. Founded by Scott Galloway (Founder, Red Envelope and Prophet Brand Strategy), L2 partners with prestige brands–such as LVMH, Gucci Group, Four Seasons, Ralph Lauren and Richemont–on their digital marketing and social media strategies.
We seek an outstanding analyst to develop and execute our newest offering: The L2 Collective quarterly benchmarking reports. The L2 Collective reports will provide L2 member brands with peer benchmarks, research and insights designed to help marketing executives evaluate and prioritize marketing, talent and technology investments.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating on research agenda setting and report structure and definition
- Conducting qualitative interviews with and disseminate quantitative surveys to senior executives at L2 member organizations
- Analyzing and synthesizing primary and secondary research
- Developing innovative frameworks for presentation of findings
- Analyzing business problems using root case analysis, surveying design, benchmarking and quantitative and quantitative research methods
- Using visuals and prose to bring data to life
The position offers extensive exposure to digital marketing, consulting, and the prestige industry. L2 is a high-growth start-up that offers substantial opportunity for advancement. Compensation includes salary, bonus and equity participation.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience conducting primary and secondary research and benchmarking surveys (or related)
- Fast learner, able to work effectively with minimal oversight
- Results-oriented, client-focused, quick-thinking and collaborative
- Strong writing skills and graphical data representation abilities
- Excellent oral communication skills, including ability to conduct research interviews
- Ability to find and extract sensitive data from original sources
- Analytical thinking with outstanding attention to detail
- Proficiency in distilling insights from massive amounts of data
- Experience or interest in digital marketing and/or luxury goods
- Degree from top-tier academic institution
